Animal Care Technician (Full-time)

We are seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to join the Animal Care staff.  Full-time position, $9.00/hour with benefits.

Primary responsibilities include sanitization and maintenance of animal housing areas and the shelter facility, daily animal feeding, processing animal intakes, and data entry.  Other responsibilities include provding kennel enrichment and socialization for shelter animals.  This is a physically demanding position that may require heavy lifting, exposure to high noise levels, and exposure to cleaning chemicals.  Qualified candidates must have animal handling experience and be knowledgeable in companion animal behavior.
