Mystik and Joey
My mom was sitting down in a chair, and my sister was leaned up against the wall. I set CJ down and sat upon the floor. He completely ignored my mom and my sister and came straight over to me. He laid into my lap and licked my hand as tears of joy filled my eyes. "I want this one!" I choked out, "I definitely want this one."

Maddison - Jaycilyn Gaddis
I had my eye set on a full blooded lab that you had in a kennel and next to it was this little boxer mix that was the size of the lab's leg .... that couldn’t stand up without falling over because she was top heavy, her little legs just wouldn’t hold her up.

Dexter and Bug - Shawne Young
My sons grew a bond with him and became compassionate young men before my eyes. Our family extended to include "outsiders and those less fortunate" which taught us a lesson in commitment to others - human and non-human, family and non-family. It taught my sons to love one another as well as to love those different then themselves. The best part of this is Dexter did it without trying, or expecting anything. He gave us the opportunity to be better people and we were.
