This is Brody!  We adopted him in October 2007 from the CCHS when he was 2 years old.  We looked for a long time to find a playmate for our lab, Jake, and finally found Brody.  I fell for his sweet face and big ears immediately, but he wasn't quite as sure about us.  In fact, he growled at my boyfriend through the kennel door.  We called his bluff and gave him a chance to be a good boy, and he hasn't let us down.  As you can see from the pictures, Jake is very happy to have his friend.

 
Brody is the smartest little guy and has impressed us with his intelligence time and time again.  He loves playing outside, and the rest of the world fades away when it's time to play fetch.  He also loves hiking, swimming, and catching a Frisbee.  Even though Brody doesn't think our neighbors have a right to be in front of our house and that the mail carrier is trying to break in and steal us, he tries every day to understand the right way to behave and to be a good boy.  We are extremely grateful to the Champaign County Humane Society for making it possible for us to find Brody.  Thank you.
