Hi there!! This is Jeanne and Brad (the couple who fell in love with Daisy). I just wanted to give you all an update on our beautiful little girl!

Where to start... well, she is doing SOO great! She has put on 5 pounds since we got her and she looks fantastic! The first day that we brought her home (1 month ago), she made herself extremely comfortable. HaHa. As a matter of fact, she jumped right up on the couch and curled up for a nap. It was the cutest thing. For the first few weeks of having her, her incision from her spay got a little bit swollen and we needed to take her to the vet a couple of times. They gave us some anti-inflammatory and antibiotics to prevent infection. Her incision looks GREAT now and since then, she has had no medical problems! You guys took such great care of her! She is in perfect health.

So a little bit about Daisy that you may not have known... she is a lunatic! hahaha! she is so hyper and crazy most of the time. We have to take her on multiple walks, to the dog park, and on hikes at allerton park every week to keep up with her activity level. It is so great! It keeps us active and gives us so much joy watching her run around like a lunatic at the park. She obsesses over sticks. She will find one stick that she really loves at the park and run around from dog to dog trying to show it off as if she were saying "look what I have! come and get it! chase me!" so cute! Every time we bring her one a walk, she picks up one stick and will carry it during the whole walk and drops it on our front porch before going into the house. We have a HUGE pile of sticks on our porch now. It makes us laugh.

As far as training goes, Daisy is a little head strong. We think it is because she is always so hyper and excited. We have potty trained her and she does REALLY well with it. Every time she needs to go out, she walks over to the door, paws at it, and whimpers. The only time she ever has accidents in the house is when she gets REALLY excited and happy. We call those accidents her pittles. We don’t scold her for it because we know it is just because she gets so happy to see us. When she wags her tail it moves around and around in a circular motion and takes her tooshie along with it. Her whole back end moves around in circles. :o) She knows sit so well! And we have taught her to give us her paw. We are now working on stay... this is going to be a tough one for her.

If you can remember, one of our biggest concerns about Daisy was whether or not she was going to get along with our other dog Emma. It turns out, they are BEST BUDS! They are soo cute together. they do everything together. brad and i call them "partners in crime" because if one is doing something she shouldnt be doing (ie taring up a sock), the other one goes over to help. They are so funny. They are constantly playing together. Running around the house chasing each other, playing tug of war, & wrestling. There are times when brad and I need to tell them to cool it because we just want to be able to sit and watch tv and relax. We crate Daisy when we are not home in the upstairs bedroom. When we walk in the door we say "emma where's daisy?" and she runs up the stairs, pushes the door open, and leans against the crate wagging her tail.

Daisy is just so lovey alllll the time. She is a lap dog. She always jumps up on our laps and leans into us. She always looks up at us with admiration. Like she appreciates us. We are so happy she has become a part of our family. She fits right in and she gets more love and attention than you could ever imagine. I have attached some current pictures of Daisy. You can see how great she looks. She still has about 5 more pounds to go (the doctors at A & E suggest that she puts on about 5 more pounds), but she really does look fantastic.

I miss all you guys over there! And I am so thankful for how well you took care of our little girl! We would love to come visit some time with Daisy if that is okay with you!

Sincerely,
 Jeanne Baker & Brad Danner
