This is Boomer, our beautiful Golden Retriever!  He is truly a jem. The photo is of Boomer and our oldest daughter, Kylie, the week before her Spring 1999 wedding.   Unfortunately, we can not remember the exact date of his adoption, but we believe it was Spring/Summer of 1995.  Boomer has been such a treasure to our family, and his name fits him perfectly.  Anytime a thunderstorm rolls around, Boomer has been known to jump right into bed with anyone he can find.  (We've even found him in the bathtub the minute the summer clouds boom with thunder!)  One night we woke to the sound of our five year old crying for us to come to her.  Suspecting she was afraid of the storm, we stumbled into her bedroom only to find Boomer lying across her, shivering for protection.  The morning found them both tucked in between the two of us (parents).   Boomer has touched the hearts of all that meet him and has proven a true friend to each member of our family.
