My wife and I adopted Chopper about 1.5 yrs ago from the CCHS. Chopper was a street dog for some time before we adopted him. He had worm, fleas, a bad skin irritation and he was malnourished.
He was about 3 pounds under weight, which doesn’t seem like much, but it is when his healthy weight is 12 pounds. 1.5 years later Chopper is healthy, strong and very happy in his new home. He has a dog brother named Parker (also adopted) and a new baby brother, James. I included a photo of Chopper…thank you again for our new family member. Matthew P. Eckhardt |
