Pet Friendly License Plates
"I am Pet Friendly"
Illinois residents can purchase "Pet Friendly" license plates that help to fund spay/neuter programs in Illinois.
If you currently have Illinois license plates and would like to change to "I Am Pet Friendly" plates, it will cost $40. ($25 will go to the Spay/Neuter Fund; $15 will go to the Secretary of State special plate fund.)
When you renew the "I Am Pet Friendly" license plate, add $27 to the standard plate renewal fee. ($25 will go to the Spay/Neuter Fund; $2 to the Secretary of State special plate fund.)
If you are purchasing "I Am Pet Friendly" plates for the first time, it will cost $118. ($25 will go to the Spay/Neuter Fund; $15 will go to the Secretary of State special plate fund.)
